Kwame Nkrumah University is a collection of students from different cultures, beliefs, religions, ethnic groups, and academic minds, represented by an array of students’ community from various parts of the country and other countries in the world. It creates a conducive environment for students to not only grow intellectually, but also expand their creativity, faith, and political views, social and professional networks.
With a wide range of undergraduate, post graduate, and short programmes to choose from, Kwame Nkrumah University provides a great opportunity for students to advance their academic achievements.
Students while studying with us are also availed with plenty of options in terms of sports, various arts, cultural, and recreational activities. Various arrays of clubs and societies are available to students for participation to enhance their university experience. Other academic and online resources are also available for both current and prospective students on the University website for guidance and information.
The Dean of Students exists as a support office to students under the University Act No. 4 of 2013. As highlighted in the Act, the mission of the Unit is to exercise overall responsibility for the organization, coordination and administration of the various non-academic aspects, social welfare and personnel services for students registered in the University. The guiding principles of the Unit’s mission in relation to the vision of the University are inclusiveness, appropriateness, responsiveness, accountability, transparency, social justice and fairness and zero tolerance to corruption.
Our vision is motivated in ensuring that we facilitate a conducive learning and living environment and the continuous improvement of facilities with a view to enhancing non-academic aspects, social welfare and personnel services for the well - being of students registered in the University.
